Missing

Missing is an interactive small group performance that explores experiences of loneliness among young people. Players investigate the story of a missing girl through video testimonies and objects from her personal life. While piecing together what might have happened to her, they also reflect on their own thoughts on what loneliness can look and feel like.

Missing was created by Tricia Coleman and Playfuel as part of the Loneliness Connects Us project, funded by the Co-op Foundation. The project is a collaboration between Manchester Metropolitan University and youth charity 42nd Street, in which 14 young co-researchers investigated experiences of loneliness. Their themes and observations underpin the story of Missing. The piece then toured to different youth projects across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to continue the conversation.
