In 2021, Playfuel provided the project management and creative engagement consultancy for Clean Air for Brunswick, a place-based partnership to tackle air pollution in the neighbourhood of Brunswick in Manchester. Data and health scientists from the University of Manchester worked with community groups and artists to identify concerns and ideas for interventions.

One of the most exciting activities were a series of banner making workshops led by printmaker Sally Gilford, Here, residents and school children created and printed their own clean air slogans. The wider work then fed into a publication on air quality by Policy@Manchester.,
